Summary

Evidence-led diagnostic checklist for Amazon listing visibility. It starts with current Seller Central notices, product facts, required category attributes, images, policy, and Amazon-native query evidence; it distinguishes indexation from placement and does not promise a recovery time.

An Amazon listing that is difficult to find may involve catalog state, suppression, policy, category attributes, inventory, or query relevance. Amazon controls indexation and placement and does not provide BFarm with a guaranteed recovery timetable. Use current Seller Central evidence and Amazon guidance rather than an assumed algorithm rule.

Evidence-led listing checklist

1. Check current account notices

Review Manage All Inventory, account-health notices, listing-quality alerts, and the detail-page state. Record the marketplace, ASIN, timestamp, and exact message instead of inferring a hidden cause.

2. Verify product facts and required attributes

Compare title, brand, product type, variation relationship, required category attributes, and supported claims with the authoritative product material and the current Seller Central category template. Do not add unsupported keywords or claims to test visibility.

3. Review images and policy

Check the current category image requirements and any moderation response shown by Amazon. Requirements can vary by category and marketplace, so avoid publishing one universal dimension, frame-fill, or recovery rule without a current Amazon source.

4. Use Amazon-native query evidence

Where available to the seller, review Seller Central notices, the detail-page state and query evidence available in the seller's authorized reports. A manual search can be an observation but is not a complete or stable diagnostic by itself.

5. Separate indexation from ranking

Being eligible to appear for a query is different from placement. Price, availability, offer state, catalog data, shopper context, and Amazon systems can all change. BFarm does not claim access to Amazon's undisclosed ranking weights.

Documented recovery sequence

  1. Identify the specific account evidence and current Amazon guidance.
  2. Write the smallest factual or policy correction and record the prior state.
  3. Obtain client approval where required and submit through Seller Central.
  4. Record Amazon's response and re-check at a suitable time for that case.
  5. Escalate through Seller Support when the account evidence indicates a catalog or policy issue.

Timing varies by marketplace, category, moderation, and catalog state. A listing edit does not guarantee indexation, ranking, or sales.
