Summary

Operational checklist for a new Amazon ASIN covering product data, policy, inventory, pricing, eligible advertising setup, client approval, and documented measurement. It does not promise ranking, reviews, sales, or timing.

A launch checklist should reduce preventable operational errors, not promise ranking or sales. Product facts, category requirements, inventory, pricing, advertising eligibility, and Amazon policies vary by seller and marketplace. Confirm the current requirements in Seller Central before acting.

Before the ASIN goes live

  1. Verify product data. Confirm title, bullets, attributes, variations, identifiers, compliance documents, and supported product claims.
  2. Review images and A+ content. Check the current category requirements, factual consistency, mobile legibility, and client approval.
  3. Confirm inventory. Review available units, receiving status, replenishment assumptions, and the risk of stockout or excess inventory.
  4. Check pricing and margin. Document cost inputs and break-even advertising assumptions before setting a budget.
  5. Review Amazon programs. Use only programs for which the seller and ASIN are eligible, and follow their current terms.

Advertising setup

Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display each have different eligibility and purposes. Choose campaign structure, bids, budgets, placements, and negatives from the seller's commercial constraints and Amazon-provided reports. There is no universal campaign count, discount, bid modifier, click threshold, or launch budget.

After launch

  1. Confirm the detail page, variations, price, inventory, and offer render as intended.
  2. Review Amazon advertising search terms and placements on the agreed cadence.
  3. Monitor inventory and policy notifications in the seller's account.
  4. Record every proposed change and its reason; apply advertising changes only after client agreement.
  5. Evaluate the result using a suitable reporting period and disclose material changes or exclusions.

Data and outcome boundaries

Keep each seller's reports separate, record the sources used and check the permitted use of additional material. BFarm's Privacy Policy describes its data sources and external providers. Amazon controls review publication, indexation, placement, and advertising delivery, so no launch result or timetable is guaranteed.

For related scope, see Amazon PPC strategy, listing conversion fundamentals, and Advertising Optimization. A $0 account diagnostic is available with timing confirmed after intake.
