A+ ContentA+ Content (formerly Enhanced Brand Content / EBC)

A+ Content is a visual and narrative content area available to eligible sellers. Available modules and eligibility are controlled by Amazon. Clear, factual content can support a listing presentation but does not guarantee conversion or ranking.

Brand StoryBrand Story carousel

Brand Story is the cross-listing horizontal carousel above A+ Content for Brand Registered sellers. Shows 4-6 ASINs from the same brand for cross-sell discovery. Useful when the brand has cohesive multi-product narrative; less impactful for single-product brands.

Product TitleListing Title

The listing headline, indexed for search and shown in results. Amazon enforces category-specific style rules (length limits and bans on promotional wording) and violations can suppress the listing outright. The strongest single relevance field on the detail page.

Bullet PointsKey Product Features

The short feature lines ("About this item") on the detail page. They are indexed for search and read by both shoppers and Rufus when answering product questions, and category style guides restrict their length and content. Write each one as a benefit backed by proof. Keyword strings waste the slot.

Main ImagePrimary Listing Image

The first image, shown in search results. For most categories Amazon requires a pure white background with the product filling most of the frame. It is the single strongest driver of search CTR, and no other creative asset on the listing affects results as much.

Variation FamilyParent-Child Variations

A parent ASIN grouping child ASINs that differ by attributes like size or color. It consolidates reviews and traffic onto one detail page. Abusing variations to merge unrelated products violates policy and is a common trigger for listing enforcement.

Brand StoreAmazon Brand Store

A free multi-page brand destination on Amazon, built with a drag-and-drop editor and reachable from the byline link and Sponsored Brands ads. The only landing surface on Amazon with no competitor placements on it.

Premium A+Premium A+ Content

The enhanced tier of A+ Content with larger modules, video, and interactive elements. Amazon has offered it to Brand Registered sellers meeting publication criteria. Availability terms have changed over time, so verify the current requirements before planning around it.

Amazon VineAmazon Vine Review Program

Amazon's invite-only review program: sellers enroll units, and Vine reviewers receive them free and leave reviews. The only policy-compliant way to seed reviews on a new ASIN. Enrollment fees and unit caps apply and change over time.

Suppressed ListingSearch-Suppressed Listing

A listing Amazon has removed from search because it fails content requirements, such as a missing main image or an overlong title. Fixed by supplying the missing data. Surfaced in Manage Inventory and the listing quality dashboards.

Unit Session PercentageUnits per Session (Business Reports)

The Business Reports conversion metric: units ordered divided by sessions. The closest first-party stand-in for listing conversion rate. Benchmark it per ASIN against its own history, since category baselines differ too much for cross-category comparison.

Listing HijackingASIN Hijacking

When another seller attaches to your ASIN with a counterfeit or materially different item, or takes the featured offer with an unauthorized one. Countered with Brand Registry tooling, test buys, and IP complaints backed by evidence.

MYEManage Your Experiments

Amazon's built-in A/B testing for titles, main images, bullet points, and A+ Content. Brand Registered ASINs with enough traffic can run controlled split tests instead of before-and-after guesses. Tests run for weeks, so plan the content calendar around them.

Related: main-image, product-title, a-plus-content

Product VideoDetail Page Video

Video uploaded to the listing image block and the video section of the detail page. It shows the product in use and answers fit-and-size questions before the buyer commits, which cuts expectation-driven returns.

Virtual BundleVirtual Product Bundles

A Brand Registry feature that sells two or more existing FBA ASINs as one bundle listing without repackaging inventory. The bundle gets its own detail page and price. Availability follows the scarcest component in the bundle.

Related: asin, brand-registry, fba

Customer Q&ACustomer Questions & Answers

The question-and-answer block on the detail page, answerable by past buyers and by the brand. Unanswered questions send hesitant buyers to competitor listings, so brands should answer fast and with specifics.
